Bristol is a bustling city as far as entertainment is concerned.  There are a number of multi-screen cinemas in and around the city, where you can catch the latest blockbusters, as well as some smaller 'art-house' cinemas that show less mainstream offerings from around the world.

Live music is also one of Bristol's strong points with a number of large venues such as the Carling Academy that attract the largest acts from around the world, as well as a vibrant local bands scene.

If it's processed beats you like, then again, Bristol has it all with everything from tiny underground basement clubs to super-clubs playing host to some of the biggest DJs around.  For years, the Bristol club scene has been leading the country, with acts such as Massive Attack and Roni Size still playing locally.
